What Makes Sole Fitness E35 So Awesome?
Sole E35 is not exactly the heavy-duty type fitness machine, but if you're looking to invest in a mid-level machine that borders on providing the quality of a commercial-grade machine, then you might want to consider this machine.
The Sole E35 is sturdily built and well-constructed and will let you go hard on it without the machine moving.
The Sole E35 takes users up to a maximum weight of 375 pounds, which says a lot; the weight capacity of this machine is approximately, 75 pounds more than what most of the mid-level priced machines would take.
Sporting an electronically adjustable incline ramp, you'll not have to go through the inconvenience of getting off this trainer when changing the steep levels.
What I liked about the incline control is they’re conveniently located on the handlebars for easy operation.
The most impressive element, however, is the performance of the incline; Sole Fitness E35 lets you adjust the incline from zero to 30 degrees, which is approximately 10 degrees what you get with a majority of the regular trainers.
Adjustable Stride Length
With an adjustable stride length from 20-22’, it’s easy to stretch your pedal motion while working for the different muscle groups on your legs.
Better yet, the footrest themselves are adjustable, and sport an inward slope of 2°, letting you take the stress off your legs, which is handy for users on rehabilitation.

Design-Build and Dimensions
No products found.
The build quality of this Sole E35 is premium, and the manufacturer has given special attention to every detail.
For starters, the heavy-duty steel construction with multiple ABS covers makes it quite sturdy. Now, unlike the wobbly machines, E35 is not unsettling, even when you ramp up the speed. Instead, the Sole E35 is quite sturdy and doesn't move.
Moving on, this machine is relatively compact, thanks to the front-drive configuration. It’s not a folding unit, but occupying a modest dimension of 82″ x 31″, it’s far from being the largest elliptical on the market.
Even better, it has integrated transport wheels for greater portability.
To enhance a total body workout, the Sole E35 has both moving and stationary handlebars.
The stationary handlebars are integrated with pulses sensors and will help in measuring your heart rate.
The moving handlebars, on the other hand, have multi-position grips and will enhance your overall comfort during your total body workout.
Sole engineers with the help of physiotherapists designed the oversized and cushioned 15” foot pedals.
Further, the pedals are adjustable, and this helps users to achieve a more natural motion and balance to the users.
Even better, the pedals are designed with a 2-degree inward slope to reduce ankle and knee stress, making your training less painful, while at the same time motivating you to enjoy training.
Under the hood of the Sole E35, we've a silent drive system that combines a 25-pound flywheel and high gear rotation to supply smooth functioning.
When in use, the drive system delivers extremely quiet and smooth operation, exactly what you want when working out at the dead of the night when everyone is asleep.
With 20 levels of magnetic resistance, it’s easier for you to tailor your workouts depending on your fitness needs.
However, unlike a majority of the machines where you've to reach out to the console to make adjustments, E35 has the resistance controls on the handlebars, making the adjustments easy and comfortable.
10 Workout Presets
We were a bit disappointed to find only 10 programs for this trainer.
The 10 programs are broken into the following;
- 6 standard pre-set programs
- 2 heart rate programs
- 2 user-specific custom programs
Pros: What We Liked About Sole Fitness E35
- Console: Sole E35 features a large 7.5" LCD blue backlit display that is easy to understand and operate. Here, it's easy to monitor all your performance metrics, including heart rate, calories burned, distance traveled, time, and much more.
- Noiseless: Delivering a quiet and noiseless operation; it's easier for users to work out without disturbing others.
- Comfortable: While the E35 doesn’t have the comforts frills and frays of the premium models, it has a decent level of comfort to let you work out for extended periods without wearing out.
- Flexible: The multiple incline and adjustment options make this trainer a versatile unit, suitable for different uses.
Cons: What We Didn’t Like About Sole Fitness E35
- Setting up: If the reviews are anything to go by, setting this trainer is a bit challenging. While it’s by no means sophisticated, many of the users had a difficult time getting the machine up and running.
Bottomline & Verdict
Sole E35 is an above-entry, or rather mid-level elliptical trainer, introduced to facilitate ad motivate both the beginners and intermediary trainees to have regular sessions at the comfort of their home.
It has plenty of desirable options, with the major ones being adjustable foot pedals, weighty flywheel, and generous weight capacity.
In my opinion, however, the sturdiness and the overall build of the machine is one of its selling points.
Though not a full heavy-duty option, it can also double up as a commercial trainer for dedicated enthusiasts.
